JARS, VASES, VESSELS

I make a variety of jars, vases, vessels, miscellaneous objets d'art ... stuff that doesn't really have an exact category. The jar in the picture (at right) is fairly typical. It's about 18 inches tall and very round. I refer to it as a "planetary jar" because it kind of resembles a planet -- at least to me.

There's no standard size or shape to these things. They're as close as I get to what other people call "pure art". And they're only functional in that they will contain whatever you put in them.

If you want to order one (or more) you'll need to contact me. We'll talk about size and shape and color ... and price. Usually, I take these kiln-miracles to shows and sell them in person, off the shelf. Now and then I take some to galleries. Whatever jars etc are pictured are just for example -- the next ones will probably look different (that's a good thing).

Pricing: In general, a 9-inch tall vase would sell for about $40. A 12-inch one might be priced at $75. Large jars with lids (holds a gallon or more) are about $100 and up. These are just examples, though. We should talk.
