SOUP
TUREENS

They're big. I mean really big! My soup tureens stand about 18 inches high and make a dramatic centerpiece for your table. The base is a candle-warmer (that's what the holes are for). A votive light or even a tea light will keep your soup hot and ready to serve, even if your guests are delayed. Some customers report they use their tureens to serve hot cider or mulled wine. Because the base is separate from the upper part, you can even use your tureen like a giant casserole or bean pot. Like all my work, it's oven-proof, both conventional and microwave. And after the meal, you can just pop it in the dishwasher for easy clean-up. Tureens vary a bit in size, but they hold roughly six quarts. The ladle is included. Standard ladles are white (add $7 for matching ladle). I make several styles of soup bowls which can be ordered to match. If you order at least six bowls with your tureen, a ten percent discount applies to the bowls. Price: Soup Tureen with ladle & base: $150 |
