Welcome to Night Owl Mudworks!

My name is Robert Wolchock. Every piece of Night Owl Mudworks pottery is made by me with my own hands. No molds. No jigs. No forms or other aids. Just me and my potters wheel (it's a Robert Brent Model C, vintage 1973, by the way).

I'm sorry to announce that I have closed Night Owl Mudworks. I won't be producing any more ceramic work. However, I still have considerable inventory and will happily ship you your order if you see something you like. Probably the best approach will be for you to either email or phone me and we'll discuss your order.

I work in white stoneware and porcelain, fired to cone 10 (about 2385 degrees Fahrenheit) in my gas kiln (built it myself). Everything I make is functional and utilitarian -- things to cook in or eat and drink from. All my work is lead-free, dishwasher-safe, and suitable to use in your microwave or conventional oven. It's all meant to be used every day and last a lifetime.
