Print — Ink on Paper

One of my favorite things about designing for print is the craftsmanship of printing — the art of controlling how the inks will combine, the precision of getting the image just right. Also, the printing tradition: hundreds of years of the printer's craft, all the way back to old Johannes Guttenberg, and beyond.

Knowing how to prepare a piece to be printed is an art in itself. I've been doing it for over 15 years. It's always a treat to work on a print project.
